Field Trip To KIT

Moroni High School Students and Faculty were invited to KIT (Kiribati Institute of Technology), to observe the TVET Programs offered there. About 150 Students were taken on the buses.

The small houses are replicas of actual home designs.  They are resting on food safes which are used like our fridges but without refrigeration. They are used to keep the animals out and general storage.

Carpentry, automotive, electrical, and computer training are a few of the things taught there.  They had some very impressive machines in the shop area.
